Our Founder
"Hello, I'm John Campini, the founder of Battle Buddy Backup. After serving 18 years in the U.S. Navy, enduring a traumatic brain injury, knee surgeries, and a broken back, I embarked on a personal journey to find support. This led me to my service dog, Ballini. In 2024, fueled by my own experiences and a deep commitment to supporting disabled veterans, I founded Battle Buddy Backup with a mission that aims to bridge the financial gap in providing veterinary health and wellness care for our nation's heroes and their service dogs.
